Breck’s® Rainbow Iris Collection

Did you know that iris is the Greek word for rainbow? It’s true! And since there are seven essential colours that comprise a rainbow, it’s only fitting that our Rainbow Iris Collection brings you seven exceptionally colourful varieties.

This collection includes one each of the following varieties:

• Adventurous: Lemon-yellow standards boast subtle white veining, while the falls showcase a captivating display of electric violet-blue with light blue veins and a striking ¾” ruby red band. The violet-blue beards are tipped with more lemon yellow. Produces up to nine buds per stem, perfect for cutting arrangements.
• Polka Princess: Heavily ruffled and richly coloured, this striking plicata iris blends warm terracotta, brick red and dusky rose with a flash of white beneath a burnt orange beard.
• Tangerine Pop: Large, 5″ blooms with cadmium orange petals and vibrant, deeper-hued orange beards.
• Head Over Heels: Delicately fluted blooms boast the softest pastel pink, deepening ever so slightly at the base for an enchanting ombré effect. A touch of creamy white around the beards adds a final touch of elegance to this exquisite flower.
• Broad Shoulders: Pale lavender standards are edged in buff tan and sit atop rich plum-burgundy falls, the contrasting hues creating a stunning display. Viewed in daylight, the colours are magnificent; at dusk, they take on a striking, black-and-white look.
• It’s Magic: This vibrant iris stands out with its sunfast yellow petals and a striking contrast of pristine white, dazzling in any garden. Its large, exuberantly ruffled blooms and broad, impeccably shaped falls exude elegance and captivate onlookers.
